This is a near perfect design. I'll share the "near" part of perfect later. What I like is the ample room, reasonably well constructed, and innovative design it offers. Held up well on a whirl wind trip to Italy and back. Easily holds enough clothes and gear for a couple of days. Love the different transformer like carrying options from backpack to shoulder strap to carrying handle. So the areas I would have like improved upon starts with the way it opens. In fact all of this style that I could find on Amazon open this way. From the top of the pack. I looked all over for something similar that unzipped all the way around. You know, like a suitcase. This way it could open all the way up. The other area they should have put a bit more thought into was they way the laptop pocket is buried too deep into the main compartment. This makes it more difficult then it should be to do the TSA quick draw out of the pack and then back in after inspection.All-in-all not a bad bag for the buck. Oh yeah. Kept the Covid-19 away as well.Nice looking design for use as a carry on, duffle bag, and backpack.I didn't want anything that looked too "new" or screamed "tourist" and this fits the bill perfectly!Good number of pockets and nice access to the main compartment.Main compartment zippers will accept a travel lock for added security.I like that the material designed to covers the shoulder straps when not needed, is fixed and not a roll-up like some other packs, so it can be used for storage as well. The availability of the various grab handles is a nice feature too. This was purchased mainly for a trip overseas, but may become my main, day pack. (will make a great B.O.B.)The canvas is soft and supple, and does not have that "old style tent smell".I will probably treat it with a water repellant for additional piece of mind.Excellent design and handy size pack!Highly recommended to anyone looking for a versatile and comfortable bag.Bag arrived two days ago and I'm pleased. The canvas is sturdy, the seams are strong, the straps and d-hooks, etc.seem durable. The rubber grab handles on the side and front of the bag are actually less intrusive than I thought. The liner of the bag is unobtrusive and simple. The leather zipper pulls look nice and unlike other duffel/backpacks I looked at, the design is pretty classic and functional. (e.g. no giant patches of fake leather or strange roll up to hide the backpack straps if you want to use it as a duffel). I've purchased this for a seven day trip in southern Ireland and will be testing it locally with some light travel to see how it fares.I liked the pack right out of the box. I like the materials and design. One thing I would like are "D-rings" on the other side for the shoulder strap. I carry my tripod on that side and carrying it that way I like it to be on top. Actually I wish it was just slightly larger but, I took it on a train trip from St.Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee to Seattle and back and it worked great for what I needed. Had it been slightly larger I would have been able to carry just the one pack but needed a second for all my other things. ie, camera gear and such. overall I'm very happy with it.It's quite sharp. It's a backpack but a bit classy. Still, won't cramp your style either way. Excellent craftsmanship. Worth the wait. This is the best investment ever!I bought this not expecting the absolute amazing high quality. It is strong double stitched with fine inner lining. The strength and durability can be seen and felt. It can be carried in a few different ways. I really am impressed and will be buying this same bag in Black.I look forward to using it and it's worth every penny!Fits so much! Sturdy & well made. Definitely recommend! This backpack is fantastic! It is well made, well designed, comfortable to carry, long enough for a tall person, holds a lot, and looks good. We are very happy with this product. It is also wonderful that it was delivered in 2 days. We will be using this backpack in our travels this year.
