I bought this TWICE for each of my 3 and 5 yr old. I NEVER write reviews like this but figure other moms need to know (because I wish I would have). When they arrived, I was thrilled and the quality looked excellent and my girls LOVED them. However, we were disappointed with the space inside...they look great but u can’t put much in them!!!! For our flight, the girls each had an iPad, headphones, lunch box, and a few toys (mainly markers/paper). The suitcases barely fit the stuff (because the rolling wheels take up all the space inside) and here’s the kicker...In the airport, multiple times, the zipper got jacked when trying to open and close the bags. So bottom line - the zippers are terrible quality. If there is any stress on the zipper at all, the bag will come undone. We were able to fix the zipper by unzipping and then zipping, but it keeps happening over and over. My husband was like “really? I hope u didn’t spend much on those crappy bags”...and I felt stupid because i did! So...either buy the next size up (because I think even my 3 Yr old could handle a bigger size cuz they are super easy to wheel), don’t buy at all, or buy more for looks aND don’t put much stuff in them!! My return window is closed so I might end up taking them to my seamstress who can maybe fortify the zippers. Other than the zippers and space issue, the bags were amazing.***UPDATE ON REVIEW***I was initially not pleased with the smaller versions of the backpacks I bought for my 2 girls...mainly because the zippers were malfunctioning due to trying to fit so much inside. I left the above review with a 1 star rating (and since have updated to 4 based on the below) and they sent me a brand new larger back pack to try out for free....I couldnt believe it!!! The larger 18/19 inch version (fyi - the company let me know the 18 and 19 inch version are actually the same, one just measures to the top of bag and the other measures to top of handle) works WAY BETTER and fits all of my kids stuff inside nicely. We LOVE the backpack and is easy for both my 4 and 6 year old to roll in the airport. It is very durable with a sturdy plastic bottom, which was handy because my kids are not delicate when it comes to maneuvering it. Also love that it has side pouches for water bottles. The zippers did not malfunction once on our trip. Although the backpack itself is incredible, the most amazing aspect of the purchase was the customer service that came with it. They seemed very concerned with my initial issue and were dedicated to "making it right". Especially during a time of covid when everything seems to go wrong, I was highly impressed with their motivation to achieve 100% customer satisfaction and I'm happy to say I will be buying again from them in the future!!!
